
Young author, Albertino Abolaji is set to launch his first children’s book named Aikin’s Dream in Canada.
Below is the short interview conducted with the 9-year-old author.
What is Your name? Albertino
How old are you? 9 years old
What grade are you? Grade 3
How do you like grade 3? It’s good. My teacher helps me in class.
Is Aikin’s Dream the first story you have written? I have written other stories, but I usually print them out in the printer, but my dad encouraged me to publish Aikin’s Dream.
What inspired you to write Aikin’s Dream? I just thought that I wanted to make a book and publish it.
How did you come about the story of Aikin’s Dream? I named it Aikin’s Dream because I was thinking about what he should do. When I first started, I just thought that he should be in a dream and just wakes up but no, I decided to make multiple dreams that follow each.
What would you like to know about Aikin’s Dream? I would like them to know that when you dream, you can dream about almost anything. In your dreams anything can happen.
How do you feel about publishing a book? Pretty good.
What would you like to tell other kids? I would like to tell them that I have published a book and that they can try to make their own book too.
Do you have plans to publish other books? Yes, I am already making other books and named it John’s Crafts.
